Dmm Anka Descender

The DMM Anka is a heavy-duty figure-eight descender designed for rappelling and abseiling, especially when repeated or longer descents put more heat and wear into the system. Its larger body provides more surface area for heat dissipation than a standard figure-eight design, making it well suited to frequent use.

The Anka also uses pronounced wings that help reduce accidental rope lock-up during descent. Its attachment point is offset 90 degrees from the main body, positioning the device more naturally when connected to a typical harness belay loop and helping reduce twisting in the setup.

Key Features

  • Device Type: Heavy-duty figure-eight descender
  • Weight: 169 g
  • 90 degree offset: better positions the device
  • Sculpted Wings: Designed to help minimize accidental rope lock-up during descent.
  • Large Surface Area: Helps dissipate heat during repeated or longer rappels.

Condition: Well Loved

This has seen some action and has some noticeable spots of rope wear. Other than some scratching and some light rope wear, it's all good for more use.
