Know what wear to expect

These labels describe wear. Check each item’s photos and condition notes for the details before you buy.

Unused gear that may be open-box, missing tags or packaging, or have small storage marks. Check the listing for details.

Looks almost new, with very little wear. It may have been used, or its unused history cannot be confirmed.

Light signs of use, such as small scuffs, faint scratches, or minor fabric wear.

Everyday wear from regular use, such as visible scuffs, scratches, light pilling, or fading.

More noticeable wear, such as deeper cosmetic scratches, heavier pilling, fading, or worn contact areas.

Substantial wear. Check the listing carefully for remaining function, missing parts, limitations, and any work needed before use.

For parts, display, collecting, or a project. Not sold as ready for its original intended use.

Repair notes are separate from wear. A repaired item can have any condition label.

A repair has been completed. See the listing for what was repaired and any remaining limitations.

An issue still needs repair or replacement. Read the listing for the work needed and any restrictions on use.

No repair note does not guarantee an item has never been repaired. Ask us if you’re unsure.
